The Backgammon Board

The backgammon board is usually made of wood and has two sides. After checkers is the game that is on the back and the other side is of course the backgammon board. In online games the same board is used so you can use this description for the same backgammon game. even though some variations in the game board is available, including for example an online board with magnet, most of the backgammon boards are standard.

You will notice 24 different points on the board, which are triangle onto which the checkers are put. In the first stage of the game a dice is thrown to decide who will start the game. after this dice is thrown the player shoots the first time. some games use the initial dice contest to determine who will be the online backgammon player.

The goal of backgammon is to clear your table from all of the checkers. This is done by moving your checkers from one side of the board to the other. After you finish placing all of the checkers to the homeboard of your opponent you can start bearing off checkers from the online backgammon board and you'll need to be ahead of the opponent so you can clear off before him.
